Is SELIHEP licensed or accredited?

Yes, St. Elizabeth's Institute of Health Professionals Mukono (SELIHEP) is a medical tertiary training institute licensed by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Sports and recognized by the Ministry of Health of Uganda. Where is SELIHEP located?

We located opposite Mukono Ssaza Head quaters, Mukono Municipality, Mukono District - Uganda. P.O. BOX 189, Mukono.

What programmes do you offer?

We offer programmes at the level of Certificates and Diplomas in the field of Medical Laboratory Techniques, Pharmacy, Nursing, Midwifery and Clinical Medicine and Community Health.For details please visit our website on the link: https://www.selihep.org/admission_req

Does SELIHEP offer Meals and Accomodation?

Yes, the accomodation and meals are provided, and are inclusive in the Tuition fees.

How long do the course span?

All certificate course take a duration of two (2) academic years of two (2) semester each.

What are the entry requirements?

Minimum Requirements for Admission for all courses

O' level certificate with passes in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English & Machines

A' level certificate with one principal pass in Chemistry and a Subsidiary in either of the two above.

Pharmacy: O' level certificate with passes in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English & Mathematics

Nursing: O' level certificate with passes in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English & Mathematics

Midwifery: O' level certificate with passes in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English & Mathematics.

Can foreign students apply?

Yes, Applicants with qualification from abroad have to first have them equated by the Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB), or by a professional council in Uganda, relevant to those qualifications.

When was the first graduation held at SELIHEP?

Our first graduation ceremony took place in the year 2013.

How do i make payments for Tuition fees?

We offer flexible payment arrangements that can be done in the bank, online or physically at our Institution premises through our agent partners. Our staff do not receive payments. For details, please visit our website or contact us on inquiry@selihep.org
